Staff Spotlight: Dawn Andersh

Dawn Andersh joined the Emporia Presbyterian Manor family in May as our new director of nursing. Dawn has been in long-term care for more than 20 years and says it was the residents she met while working as a certified nurse’s aide early in her career that inspired her to go into the field.

Although she has only been at Emporia Presbyterian Manor for a few months, Dawn says the community has already made her feel at home.

“I love the support and kindness that EPM has showed me, and I especially enjoy working with the residents and their families,” said Dawn.

Dawn has two children, one grandson (with another one on the way), two dogs and a cat. When she’s not at the community, she enjoys spending time with family and being outdoors.
