Familiar Face Joins the Presbyterian Manor Staff after Restructuring

Assisted Living Supervisor Natasha Warnick

When Deb Thornton recently retired from her position as assisted living and home health director, there was a new position – and big shoes – left to fill. Luckily, we didn’t have to go far to find the right fit.

Natasha Warnick was hired in May of 2020 as a night shift charge nurse in health care. She filled this role full-time through August of last year and then worked PRN until she was hired at the end of March 2021 as the assisted living supervisor.

“I’ve basically been doing the director of nursing stuff over here minus some things the DON as an RN would’ve done. Chrystal Chituck is now DON of the entire community. I manage staff over here, take care of schedules and make sure all of the residents are where they need to be. I also help screen residents for assisted living and basically make sure the flow of everything is going well for everybody,” said Natasha.

The transition into the new role has been an easy one for Natasha because it just feels like home.

“It’s just like a big family. It’s nice when you work so many hours together it becomes your second family, whether it’s the staff or the residents. I think they’re all wonderful,” said Natasha.

She’s used to big families. Natasha and her husband Bradley have four children.

“A lot of my spare time is spent helping them manage their schedules. One of my biggest goals for my kids is to make sure I’m available to them and getting them into sports and activities. So far, I’ve been able to do that. This position gives me flexibility to be available to them when needed,” said Natasha.

Welcome to the team, Natasha!
