Emporia Presbyterian Manor hosting veterans breakfast

John and Elsie Bock

Veterans, their spouses and widows are invited to a free Veterans Day Breakfast On the Go at Emporia Presbyterian Manor from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday, November 11, at the Presbyterian Manor campus, 2300 Industrial Rd., Emporia.

“Our breakfast will look a little bit different, but our area veterans are very important to us,” said Susan Siepelmeier, executive director. “We appreciate their service, and it’s such an honor to serve our area veterans, their spouses and widows each year and remember their sacrifice.”

Cars will enter off 24th Street at the Jones Healthcare Center entrance and proceed to the carport to pick up the meals. This event is free to all veterans, spouses and widows.

All drive-thru participants are encouraged to wear a mask while picking up breakfast.

Reservations are required. RSVP by Nov. 5 to Andraya Taber at 620-343-2613 to reserve your meal(s).
