Community welcomes new HR director

In late June, Megan Sandoval joined the Emporia Presbyterian Manor staff as director of human resources. Prior to joining our team, Megan worked at Staff Management | SMX for nearly 10 years, where she worked her way up to account manager.

At Emporia Presbyterian Manor, Megan is responsible for recruiting, screening, interviewing, and placing workers as well as handling employee relations, payroll, benefits and training.

“I am probably most looking forward to just getting to know all the staff and residents and being able to provide the help needed,” said Megan.

Megan is a graduate of Emporia State University with a degree in business administration and is vice president of Hispanics of Today and Tomorrow and a board member of Human Resource Professionals Association of Greater Emporia. She and her husband have two boys (a four-year-old and an 11-year-old) and two dogs. Together, they enjoy camping and other outdoor activities.
