Help for Alzheimer’s Caregivers

Presbyterian Manor hosting free session with lunch: "I Can’t Do This Anymore"

Caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's disease or another form of dementia is a difficult and daunting task. It's important for the caregiver to seek help when it's needed to provide the best possible care to a loved one.

Cindy S. Miller, dementia care specialist with the Alzheimer's Association, will be at Emporia Presbyterian Manor February 21 to discuss the risks of not adding care support. She will share options for care and community resources available. She also will provide a framework for deciding it's time to get more help.

Learn about the different stages of the disease process as well as the different types of care available.

Lunch will be provided for attendees, so be sure to RSVP to reserve your spot by calling Crystal Stock at 620-343-2613 or emailing cstock@pmma.org.

“I Can't Do This Anymore” is part of Emporia Presbyterian Manor’s Just Ask series, a free, ongoing lifelong learning program featuring information from local and regional experts on topics of interest to older adults and their families.
