Presbyterian Manor to host free program and explain senior care options

Ever wondered what the differences are between assisted living and health care? What about those services that make memory care special? Is independent living really that different from assisted living?

Get the answers to these questions and more at "Understanding Senior Living Options" at Emporia Presbyterian Manor at 11 a.m. on July 17.

Rhonda Parks, regional operations director for Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America and former community administrator, will define the different levels of care available at a life plan community, formerly continuing care retirement community (CCRC), like Presbyterian Manor.

Learn how you can best utilize those different levels of care to meet the needs of seniors as their needs change as they age.

The presentation is part of Presbyterian Manor's Just Ask series, a free, ongoing lifelong learning program featuring information from local, regional and national experts on topics of interest to older adults and their families.

RSVP to Crystal Stock by July 12 to cstock@pmma.org or 620-343-2613.
