There may be a time when you or your loved one needs a continuum of medical and social services for chronic health conditions that affect the ability to perform the tasks of daily living. Our goal in our long-term care neighborhood is to provide a calm and enriching environment that lets residents maintain quality of life and that includes personal choice while receiving the around-the-clock care they need.
As a faith-based not-for-profit organization, our mission is to provide quality senior services guided by Christian values. This means we provide compassionate and dedicated health care in a warm and loving environment.
Wellness is about more than physical health. It’s about social engagement and finding purpose in daily life. At Emporia Presbyterian Manor, we believe quality of care leads to quality of life.
At our long-term care community, our skilled staff and innovative wellness programming come together to create a comfortable, nurturing environment. Long term care allows you to give up the caregiver role so you can step back into the husband or wife, son or daughter, or friend role. Long term care provides proper care, nutrition, spiritual, mental, physical and social wellbeing and reduces daily life stressors related to 24/7 care. It allows your loved one to maintain their quality of life with socializing, art, music, education or spiritual practice. We walk along-side you to help you with the day to day care of your loved one, helping them maintain dignity and respect, and allowing you peace of mind that they have what they need each day.
We offer private residences where residents can receive qualified, around-the-clock nursing care. All of our rooms are also certified for short-term rehabilitation and may be used for rehab based on availability.
We are a flat rate community, charging a daily rate, not a rate based on the level of care. Also, we do not require an admission fee or application fee at the time you move into our community.
Yes, Emporia Presbyterian Manor is Medicare and Medicaid certified. Medicaid will cover the cost of long-term care or memory care stay for Medicaid-approved residents. Medicare will cover costs associated with rehabilitation and skilled stays, but not room and board.
Yes, this is not uncommon. Couples can live either in long-term care separately in their own rooms or share two halves of a semi-private room.
Yes! We ask that you sign your loved one out with the nursing staff and, if planning to be gone for a prolonged period, to let us know ahead of time so we can prepare any medications and adjust care plans as needed (i.e. bathing, therapy). Also, please share a return time so we can ensure to have a meal ready for your loved one, if needed. If you and your loved ones are going somewhere special, we would love see photos if you would like to share.
