Deb Thornton returns to Presbyterian Manor

One of our newest employees isn’t so new to our campus. Deb Thornton, our new assisted living director, first worked for Emporia Presbyterian Manor from the summer of 2014 to January of 2018 as director of health services.

“I retired at that time, but the adventure did not appeal to me. It is highly over-rated in my opinion,” said Deb.

She returned to our team in October and is enjoying being “home.”

“Connecting and reconnecting with our clients has been a great joy. The team here is dynamite, and makes it feel like coming home,” said Deb.

Deb and her husband have five grown children and six grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys making music with friends (she plays guitar) and they play for senior living communities in the area, including Presbyterian Manor.

Welcome back, Deb!
