A Thankful Community

Throughout November, please make time to visit our Atrium Gallery and browse the Gratitude Tree. Each leaf on the tree will feature statements from residents and staff members about the things for which they are grateful in this season of Thanksgiving. Stop by and add your own!

We also asked some of our community members to share words of thankfulness here:

Nina Gragg, independent living resident, is "grateful for a safe and secure place to live, and for a loving family and good friends."

Belinda Castillo, CMA in assisted living, is thankful "to be at the manor and grateful that I’m able to take care of the elderly, same as I would like my mother to be treated and taken care of." Belinda added, “I love what I do and always will."

Crystal Stock, marketing director, is thankful for "life in general. I am blessed to have a wonderful family and a great job with thoughtful and kind co-workers."

Emily Prouse, registered dietitian, is "thankful for health, family and wonderful co-workers and residents who make coming to work much more enjoyable."

Jim Lowther, assisted living resident, is thankful to be here at the manor and for the good care he receives.

Ann Doudican, assisted living resident, is thankful for the staff at Presbyterian Manor.

Carl and Jean Elliot, independent living residents, are thankful and praise the Lord for a wonderful staff and place to live.

Johny Patwary, dining services director, is thankful for his son who keeps him motivated.

Allison Bess, assisted living nurse, is thankful for her healthy baby boy. (She is a new mother!)

Deb Brand, laundry services assistant, is thankful for her grandson Hunter.

Lea Reed is thankful for her job, her family, friends and heavenly Father.

Sharon Schmidt, housekeeping services supervisor, is thankful to be working at Emporia Presbyterian Manor.

Susan Siepelmeier, executive director, is thankful for "a leadership team that is dynamic and works well together to support our mission statement, which is to provide quality senior services guided by Christian values."
