Living with Degeneration
September 7th 2-3 p.m.
Jon with Hometown Healthcare and Amy with Naon Pac will co-present a workshop on Living with Degeneration.
There have been a lot of technological advances that are making it easier to live with a degenerative vision diagnosis.
Jon will talk about degeneration from the standpoint of a therapist and offer insight about the ailment. Amy will bring some tools individuals with degeneration can utilize to help with the activities of daily living.
This session is part of Emporia Presbyterian Manor's ongoing Just Ask lifelong learning series featuring topics of interest to seniors and their families. Refreshments will be served and there will be a door prize. RSVP by September 1 to Crystal Stock at 620-343-2613 or email@example.com.

Join us for chili, tasty cinnamon rolls and fall goodies. Enjoy live entertainment by the Sunshine Singers, and fellowship with friends and neighbors from the campus and the Emporia community.

Artist Reception – Joan Butts
September 28th 2-4 p.m.
Emporia resident Joan Butts is our featured artist for September. Her quilts will be on display in the atrium gallery throughout September. Joan is a multi-award winning quilter. She took first place in the quilting category in our local Art is Ageless competition. Her daughter, Elaine Boese, also is an accomplished quilter.
