Our Leadership Team

The day-to-day operation of Emporia Presbyterian Manor is led by dedicated professionals on our leadership team who bring a wealth of experience and specialized expertise to their positions.  As employees of Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America, our promise to you is to live our mission by:

Susan Siepelmeier, Executive Director

Susan joined Emporia Presbyterian Manor as activity director in June 1986. She had previously served as director of activities/social services/rehabilitation at Flint Hills Manor. Susan earned her bachelor’s degree in human development and the family from University of Nebraska Lincoln. She earned her gerontology certification from University of Nebraska Omaha. Susan is certified as a licensed adult care home administrator.


Crystal Stock, Marketing Director

Crystal joined Presbyterian Manor in March 2015 as the human resource director and was named marketing director in February 2016. A 2011 graduate of Emporia State University with a degree in business administration and political science, Crystal previously managed a staffing agency and worked in management, operations and customer service in a factory setting. She has education in web design, experience as a mentor to special needs children, can speak three languages (English, Spanish and French) and is a KU Honor Student. She and her husband, Nevik Stock, have three children.


Maria Lane, Social Worker

Before joining Emporia Presbyterian Manor as social services director in May 2009, Maria was a special education para with USD 253. She previously served as activity director/social service director at Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor, and as a child protective social worker for SRS in Winfield, Kansas. Maria has a bachelor’s degree in sociology/anthropology and is certified as a licensed social worker. She is a member of American Gold Star Mothers, Families of the Fallen and National Association of Social Workers.


Claude Williamson - Environmental Services Director

Claude joined Presbyterian Manor as director of environmental services in October 2012. He has 15 years of experience in long-term care as an environmental services director. He previously taught Life Safety for Healthcare Facilities at the Geriatric Research Training Institute in Olathe, Kansas, from 2003-2011. During that time, he was the director of environmental services for Evergreen Community. Before coming to Kansas, he worked in environmental services for a school district in Iowa for 18 years and served for 7 years in the United States Navy. He and his wife have two grown daughters and grandchildren, who he enjoys greatly.


Caitie Stineman, Human Resource Director

Caitie joined Presbyterian Manor in June 2016. She previously worked as the office manager in the IT department at Emporia State University. Before that, she worked in human resources in Sterling, Kan., where she attended college. A native of Kansas, she grew up in California before returning to Kansas to play volleyball at Sterling College. She and her husband have a daughter.


Johny Patwary, Dining Services Director

Johny was named dining services director in May. A native of Bangladesh who was raised in Bahrain, Patwary graduated from Emporia State University. During his undergraduate career, he was a dishwasher at the university dining hall. After graduation, he pursued a hospitality management degree and since served as executive chef for various universities and colleges all over country. He returned to Emporia State University as their executive chef and was involved in multi-million dollar renovation. He helped design the resident dining room and redesign the college restaurant. After the project was completed, he was transferred to Friends University in Wichita, where he was executive chef for two years. He came back to Emporia as executive chef for Presbyterian Manor.


Leigh Ayers, Health Services Director

Leigh was named health services director in July 2017. She previously worked as a health services supervisor at the campus. She has a bachelor’s of science degree in nursing from Emporia State University, where she was a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She also has a bachelor’s degree in English from ESU and a master’s of science in management from Baker University. Prior to attending nursing school, Leigh worked for a child welfare organization for 17 years, where she worked in human resources and training services.
